Enthusiastic about developmentaly appropriate learning experience for children within early childhood
education, I consistently volunteered and worked with children starting age 15. During this time, I have learned
a variety of communication, problem solving, and teaching skills.

t Being a lead teacher in the classroom reaquires me to ensure great working enviromnet for me and
my coworkers, and children, as well as building strong communication with families and
management. This position also requires me to plan lessons, adjust activities in accordance to
children’s development and the curriculum provided by school.

While being teacher assistant, I supported lead teacher in a variety of activities and worked with
children between 18 months old and 5 year olds.
2016 - Light to the World Church
Presen Sunday School Teacher
t Working with other Sunday school teachers, we organized Easter and Christmas plays, as well as
variety of other church related events for children. This also included volunteering a one of the
leaders for kids camp organization within the church. I also prepared small children’s performances
for the Sunday church service.
2017 - Russian School Rodnichok
2020 Volunteer Russian Language Teacher
While being a volunteer Russian School teacher, I had an opportunity to work with children ages 5-
7 years old, teaching them how to speak, read, and write in Russian. With this volunteer
opportunity, I have learned communication skills, how to work with curriculum and to prepare
engaging lessons. Last school year, my students learned received basic skills of reading and writing
in Russian and showed high results reading twice faster than expected for their age.
2015 - Light to the World Church
2018 Volunteer Childcare Teacher
I have volunteered in church childcare almost every Friday of the year. During this time, I was
responsible to prepare and organize classroom, work with an adult helper, and to provide a safe
place for children to learn bible lessons in a fun and engaging way. Children’s ages varied from 4
month to 4 years old, usually at the same time.
2016 - Bellevue Aquatic Center
2017 Lifeguard/ Swim Instructor
As a lifeguard, my job was to provide a safe place for patrons, which taught me communication
skills, how to solve conflicts and overcome language barrier. As a swim instructor, I had to teach
children basic swimming skills, as well as, to help them overcome fear of water, and to make sure
that they are safe in the water.
