Our Philosophy

As O. Fred Donaldson said, Children learn as they

play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to
learn. I believe this is true and demonstrate this
concept in my classroom. Children learn best
through hands-on experiences that engage the whole
child in a developmentally appropriate way. When a
child plays, they are acting out what they have
experienced and observed firsthand. There is much
to learn about children by the way they play and
socialize with others. Play isnt a luxury to be
experienced only after completing tasks; play is a
necessity that expands childrens minds and
facilitates learning. In my classroom, children will
experience life the way they are supposed to, through
play enriched activities and developmentally
appropriate lessons.
As an Early Childcare Educator, it is my
responsibility to care for and educate each child.

grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
In order to accomplish this, it is necessary for
children to feel safe and cared for. My classroom is a
comfortable and peaceful place for children to learn.
Children need a consistent, nurturing environment to
grow, and parents need to know their children are
being taken care of. It is my aspiration to create this
atmosphere and encourage students to meet their full
potential.
An Early Childhood Educator should be passionate,

nurturing and flexible. I believe children deserve a Program Director
compassionate, committed teacher who is invested in
their education. Children are like a mirror; what they
hear and see, they do. It is my responsibility to
always be the best reflection of myself for my
