I have managed Emily at HEB for over a year where has always and continues to exceed
expectations. Whenever there is an upset customer checking out of Emilys line, I can depend on
her to be a listening ear and problem solver.
A major characteristic that I see in Emily is her leadership skills. If Emily has the opportunity to
work with the YMCA of the Rockies, she would do her job without asking what to do next and
influence others to excel in their work. Whenever I have to close the store, I have asked Emily on
several occasions to be my lead person on the front end (central checkout) and direct my
employees as I complete closing duties around the store. Emilys maturity and ability to relate to
others allows her to form meaningful relationships amongst coworkers and people in her
community.
