    John Calvin believed that people should be involved in the government


    and religion. For this reason he left the original church he participated at and
    created a new religion called Calvinism. With this religion, you can
    participate in the government and religion at the same time. Also, John
    Calvin believed that the main religious authority was the bible. Later, Johns
    new religion had spread very quickly and had became a main religion.
