Open Mic Night

The Macados Restaurant in Emory, VA is starting a bi-weekly open mic night. Every

other Wednesday from 8:00-10:00 pm, Meadowview, VA recording company Middle Fork

Records will be hosting a night full of acoustic and electric music by students and people from

the community. The companys rep. Jamen Denton is spearheading this project. Macados

assistant manager Allan Schreiber believes the new event will be a huge success.

All these kids can come up here and sign up, he said he has a huge following, so we are going
to have a bunch of people to come up here and do it.

Macados Open Mic night has been advertised through local radio stations and the EHC

Scoop. Performers are permitted to only sing 2-3 songs. Sign up sheets are at the front desk at

Macados or online through the Middle Fork Records Facebook page.
