LESSON SUMMARY: We will teach the american education history of 1970s and how it has
changed over time.

DO NOW Assignment:We will have the poster facing backwards and we are going to tell
them our title and ask them if they can give us an example on what the lesson is going to
be about.

MATERIALS: Poster, chromebook, worksheet

ANTICIPATORY SET: To get my students engaged to my lesson about American education in


1970s is moving their seat by their color and language to show how it was back the in the
1970s. We will show them a quick s for some more explanation if theres any confusions.

TEACHING/ PRESENTATION
(What does the teacher do?):
We will give the student a worksheet/quiz on the computer that determines where they
will sit. We will be standing up for the jeopardy and calling on teams.
GUIDED PRACTICE (What do the students do?):
Show slideshow to get them engaged in our lesson,Jeopardy to review.

INDEPENDENT PRACTICE:
The students will work on a short question about the topic we are talking about in google
classroom. They will work on it for 5 minutes and submit it for credit.

ELL MODIFICATIONS:
If we had a student that needs an ELL modificatiion, we talk with the kid after class to see
what they need help on.

SPECIAL NEEDS ACCOMMODATIONS:

If we had a student with dyslexia, we would use verbal accommodations to make sure
they understand what they are supposed to do. We could also sit the student upfront.
