Artifact One

According to the website titled Introduction to the Federal Court Systems it is

mentioned, Nevada is in the ninth circuit of appeals and the ninth circuit consist of multiple East

coast states. In the Unites there are 13 circuit courts divided into different regions.

The 11th article titled The Constitutions of the State of Nevada is on Education which

have ten sections. The first section is about the government encourage education by keeping

order to government services. The second section is on Uniform system of common schools,

which is about the government taking care of common schools. The third section consist of the

collection of fines under the penal law for education uses. The fourth section explains The

Legislature shall provide for the establishment of a State University which shall embrace

departments for Agriculture, Mechanic Arts, and Mining to be controlled by a Board of Regents

whose duties shall be prescribed by Law. Section five is an oath of teachers and professors from

article 15 in the constitutions of the State of Nevada. Section seven is about the Board of Regents

who are the Governor, Secretary of State and Superintendent of Public instruction. Their job is to

control and manage affairs of the University and funds of the same under such regulations as

may be provided by law. The eight section helps maintain and organize the state university.

Section nine says no sectarian instruction should tolerated or imparted. The last section of the

11th article says No public money can be used for sectarian purposes.
