    Play Whats That Sound? While your Take a Listening Walk around your
    childs eyes are closed, make a sound: home with your child. Pause in each
    close a door, turn on the faucet, room to listen quietly. Talk about
    bounce a ball, and so on. Can your the sounds you hear. Try this activity
    child identify the sound? Switch roles outside, too.

    of the other Letter People. Most of them
    were listening politely, but Ms. L and
    Ms. U kept talking.
    Ask your child how I felt and what I
    did when Ms. L and Ms. U werent
    listening to me.

    good listener.
