ABSTRACT
Agra to lion Safari Etawah: There are plenty of ways to enjoy, but riding a bike is one
of the most active way to spend leisure time. Cycling gets your legs moving and your heart
pumping without pounding your joints, the cycling besides enjoyment is also helpful in keeping
good health and fitness. Besides enjoyment and health benefits, riding a bike improves
economics, social, environment and transport benefits.
Agra is a world famous tourist place and whenever India is represented for tourist purpose, it is
represented by TAJ MAHAL. There are also other famous monuments and places in and around
temples,temple at Dayalbagh, Chambal Safari near river chambal at Jarar ,Bah and of course
Lion Safari at Etawah. Beside the above famous places there are still many monuments and
places which could not be explored and seldom visited by tourists as being at remote country
side and as not properly approachable to roaders there. For that CYCLE TRACK is the solution.
To enhance the tourism, the UP Govt. has taken a lead and has already constructed Cycle
Tracks in Agra, Lucknow, Safai etc. The UP Govt . has decided to construct BICYCLE
HIGHWAY in country side of Agra and Etawah to connect Taj Mahal and Etawah Lion Safari via
old monuments, Palaces, Famous Temples, Chambal Safari, Fort etc. This BICYCLE
HIGHWAY will be constructed on Chak roads/farm Tracks, canal/river banks, along village
painted road side.
Total Length of Bicycle Highway in Agra District is 166.80 km & in Etawah District it is 40.50 km,
thus total length is 207.30 km amounting to Rs 13377.96 Lacs.
