Procedure

The rocker length was adjusted by adjusting the knurled screw.

Rocker length was adjusted as it will stay in the rocker scale for all the readings (for all
values of circular scale).
Screws are tightened a bit to stop unwanted movements when getting the readings.
After that, the crank was set to 0 in circular scale, and got the rocker scale reading.
Then, the angle of the rod with the linear scale was adjusted according to the rocker scale
reading. (angle of the linear scale is same as the rocker scale reading).
After that the intersection point of the linear scale and coupler was measured with the help of
the linear scale.
The above steps from 4 to 6 were done for 36 times for every 10 crank angle, and results
were obtained
Finally, the length of the crank, rocker, follower, and frame was measured.
