THE STUDY OF TIME SPENT ON PHYSICAL EXERCISES

PER WEEK BETWEEN STUDENTS OF KULLIYYAH OF PHARMACY AND STUDENTS

INTRODUCTION
This study was conducted on students of two different Kulliyyah in IIUM Kuantan which

are Kulliyyah of Pharmacy (KOP) and Kulliyyah of Science (KOS). The study was conducted by

doing survey on 20 students of KOP and 20 students of KOS to determine the pattern of time

they spent on physical exercises per week. The following sections in this assignment paper

include the data that had been collected and the analysis of the data. In this assignment, the

theoretical topic from statistics subject such as measures of central tendency is being applied.

The study of time spent on physical exercises in minutes per week between students of

Kulliyyah of Pharmacy and students of Kulliyyah of Sciences in IIUM.

Based on the above histogram, it can be seen that the number of time spent on

physical exercises among students of Kulliyyah of Pharmacy and Kulliyyah of Science

with the highest frequency are the same which are between 0-69 minutes.
For Kulliyyah of Pharmacy; five students spent around 70-139 minutes on

physical exercises and four students spent around 210-279 minutes on physical exercises.

In Kulliyyah of Science, five students spent around 70-139 minutes, three students spent

around 140-209 minutes on physical exercises.


The lowest frequency for both Kulliyyah is zero which represent 350-419

minutes, 420-489 minutes, 490-559 minutes and 630-699 minutes for Kulliyyah of

Pharmacy. As for students of Kulliyyah of Science, the classes with zero frequency are

210-279 minutes, 490-560 minutes, 630-699 minutes and 700-769 minutes.


In conclusion, although students of Kulliyyah of Pharmacy have a tight class

schedule and students of Kulliyyah of Science have moderate class schedule; they share

the same classes of time spent on physical exercises with the highest frequency which is

0-69 minutes.
