SRS activity will be anonymous
Briefly describe what will happen during the SRS activity
During this time the children will each have a laptop computer. The students will log on to the socrative
website where theyll be able to access the test. During this time the teacher can walk around the classroom,
and observe the children. Because its a test the students will have the class period to perform the test.
Another method that could be used is incorporating clickers. Each student will grab a clicker and log on.
The teacher will display on the board the questions to the test one by one. During this time, the students
should not be talking. They will get a few minutes to answer each question. The children will input their
answers by using the clicker. Once the test is done, the teacher may ask if there are any students that need
the question repeated. At that time the teacher will go back for those students, and test results will be sent to
the teacher.

Why or why not? I did pre-select correct answers, but the students will not have access to those until
everyone is finished.
Use of data:
This data will be used to award the students a grade. It can also be used to show the students the average in
the class. Itll also display which questions students missed the most. This will help decide if the teacher
should move onto the next unit or revisit a topic before continuing. It can also be shared with parents to
monitor their childs progress.
Describe what will occur after the SRS activity: After the SRS activity depending on the results we will
decide if we need to revisit a section of the topic or if we can move forward.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. From this system Im hoping to be able to make it
easier for students who are not the best test takers to become better. It may also help the student if I read the
question aloud, and go at a slow pace together.
