Make notes of other things that need to be worked on throughout the rehearsal and
address them as we go
Go through whole piece

Materials/Resources needed:
Score (Sparks)
White board (if needed)
Tuner

Objective/Purpose:
Help the students in the ensemble have a better understanding of the piece and
how their individual part fits in with the rest of the ensemble. (Listening)
Work with dynamics as well
Input:
I went through Sparks with the band already, so they should have an
understanding of how the piece goes and fits together. Going through the piece
now is to clean up a few things with different sections.
Since going through the piece, there has been a few issues with tempo so I want to
help the students find a solid tempo. (Work with percussion)
I still need to work on conducting to help the sections know where their entrances
are and to play more together

Check for Understanding/Closure/Evaluation:

Set tempo and see how much it fluctuates throughout the whole piece.
Play through the piece to make sure that everything that I went over in the lesson
was understood.
Watch for the accents and dynamics. Also entrances!
Make notes of things that still need to be worked on for the next lesson.
