After reviewing my induction plan with my coach it became clear that my

focus needed to be on attempting to reach the attendance goal that has not

yet been met. The other goals that I set for myself were met and we

discussed how much we as a team were able to accomplish. We then moved

on to develop a game plan on how I could reach the 98% attendance goal

that I set. The first step that is required is to isolate students who have only a

few absences. In doing this, I will be able to easily motivate the students to

attend Saturday School in order to regain the lost ADA. This will require

running several data reports on student attendance. The next step discussed

would be to monitor and have Student Attendance Review Team meetings

with students who habitually miss school. To accomplish this task, I needed

to coordinate my calendar with the district liaison and our attendance clerk. I

would then identify the students whose parents would need to attend and

meet with them to discuss their students attendance. The last step would

come to just prior to our perfect attendance celebration. I would isolate

students with one or two absences and tell them if they attend and meet the

criteria, the could join me on the perfect attendance field trip.
