Subject: 5th Month Attendance Data

The Districts 5th Month Attendance data has been posted and is available for
review at the link below. Our current attendance rate of 97.45% is almost exactly
the same as it was last year at this time when our rate was 97.46%. While we are
0.55% below the Districts goal of 98%, Im pleased that our site continues to have
the second best rate in the District, still trailing only Lakewood by 0.47%. Im also
pleased that our 5th Month attendance rate is 1.31% higher than the K-6 average.

Thank you for continuing to encourage your scholars to come to school every day.
Please continue to offer incentives and rewards for exemplary attendance and, as I
indicated at our last staff meeting, I will personally treat any class that is able to
string together 10 days in a row of perfect attendance to an after school pizza
party. It is my hope that we can make a strong 3rd Trimester push and catch
Lakewood like we did last year. Thank you for your efforts in this area.
