Zip Kit: The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs, By: Jon Scieszka
Instructions
While you read the story aloud to your child have them use the straw, sticks, and
dice to replicate the 3 Little Pigs houses.

When the story reaches the part where

the wolf huffs and puffs have your
child blow the house down!

These are some ideas of what the houses may

Like. Your child can build whatever kind of
house he or she would like.

The main goal for this activity is to

work on comprehension. Throughout
the story, have your child answer
questions about the story i.e. Was it
a good idea to build his house out of
straw? Do you think the Wolf is
innocent? Which house was the strongest? What would have you
said to the 3rd Little Pig?
