Stabat Mater Pergolesi

Stabat Mater is a 13th Century Catholic hymn about Marys sorrows


during Christs crucifixion. It has been set to music by many
composers, one of the most famous being Pergolesis setting.
Mirinesse Singers
Giovanni Battista Pergolesi (1710-1736) wrote it during the final present
weeks of his life and it was composed for the Confraternit dei
