Daily Responsibilities
When not working on a spread during class time, photojournalists are expected to complete
continuing education training activities, including photoshop training, writing practice, and training
for design, if desired. They must earn that privilege by showing good work ethic, quality product,
and leadership potential.

In this class there will be no down time. You will never have nothing to do. If you have completed all
of your personal things, ask your team lead what else you can do, then come ask an ed board
member what you can do, and if there is still nothing, you can go through every spread and read and
edit copy (look for commas, name check, grade check, punctuation, capitalization, grammar, ect.)

Photojournalists will be expected to conference regularly with their editors and Mrs. H-Y concerning
their work. All work done should be considered in draft mode until final send. Photojournalists may
do the same work over and over again, including interviews, until it reaches an acceptable product
this is just the nature of the work we do.

As everyone will be doing different work at different times, one of the main ways a photojournalist
will communicate their work to Mrs. H-Y will be through weekly reports, due the last day of class that
week (Thursday or Friday). These reports will be clarified in class.
