The task that were given to me is about Costing. It includes the Capital
Cost (a roughly estimate), Operating Cost, and Payback Period. This computation is
already familiar since we already take Engineering Economics. The computation is
limited only, since the project is just a proposed equipment design and not the
whole plant. So, the value that we computed were very small, since the proposed
distillation column is just a part of the whole plant. I also given a chance to help
with the design of the Distillation column in Sketchup which includes the design in
number of trays, reboiler and condenser, the piping and installation.
