Due to the exercises and surveys that Ive done I learned that there are multiple ways that

can help the workstation

become more ergonomic are with chair, keyboard, monitor and breaks. First example chair: hips as far back as they

can go in the chair, Adjust the seat height so your feet are flat on the floor and your knees are equal to, or slightly

lower than, your hips, Adjust the armrests so that your shoulders are relaxed. Another example keyboard: Pull up

close to your keyboard, Position the keyboard directly in front of your body. Also monitor: Center the monitor

directly in front of you above your keyboard, Sit at least an arm's length away from the screen and then adjust the

distance for your vision, Use a headset or speakerphone to eliminate cradling the handset. Another one are breaks:

Rest your eyes by covering them with your palms for 10-15 seconds. Performing simple stretches throughout the

workday increases circulation and flexibility, improves posture, and reduces tension and the chance of injury. Ex:

standing up and stretching back, walking 10-15 minutes. Running is also very effective. Proper exercises are the best

way to an effective and complete office ergonomics program.

1. Head and body are straight

2. Elbows are close to the body

3. Top screen is below eye level

4. Chair has the right height

5. Balanced wrist position

6. Feet flat on the floor
