WEEK: SUMMER FUN

Hi, my name is Alondra Rivera and I will be the lead teacher this week of May 9-12. I am a
junior at Landstown High School. This week will be all about summer fun . This previous
week we ended with the last letter of the alphabet being Z. This week we will be review-
ing the whole alphabet, so there is no exact letter of the week. The take home activity this
week will be a ice cream math activity; the children will have to count how many scoops of
ice cream each cone gets. Thank you, I hope you all have a great week! :)

In technology this week with Miss Makayla, the children will be playing a Snack
game about making ice cream sundaes. The children will have to follow a
Tuesday: Rainbow pop-
recipe and drag each item into a bowl, therefore creating a perfect sun- sicles w/ apple juice
dae.
Wednesday: watermelon
In fine motor with Miss Shaniece, The children will be making lemonade, popsicles w/ grape juice
a beach towel, a beach bucket, and a little Mothers day craft. By cutting
out each item and gluing them on to a piece of paper, they will be putting Thursday popcorn and
their little itty bitty fingers to work. fruit punch

In art this week with Miss Brianna, the children will be creating a ice Friday fruit kababs and
cream cone using puffy paint. They can decorate with sprinkles and a lemonade
cherry.
In sensory this week with Miss Rachel, the children will be playing in the
water table reviewing the alphabet. They will be picking a rubber ducky
from the table and telling what letter is underneath.
In dramatic play this week with Miss Mary, they will be opening their
own Ice Cream Shoppe. They will be having all jobs as in a regular ice
cream shop. They will be taking orders, serving ice cream and being cus-
tomers.
In assessment with Miss Goldie, the children will be listening to a cd
filled with sounds . They will have to match the sound with the picture.
In building blocks with Miss Erin, the children will be building their fa-
vorite place to go during the summer by using the playmobile blocks,
wood blocks, and character figurines.
In science this week with Miss Ky-Asia, the children will be making actu-
al ice cream, they will be following a recipe in order to create the ice
cream.
