Dear Parents / Guardians,

Summer Activities 2017

This year we are planning a number of weekend activities for the Scout section. Each Patrol will have a weekend
camping locally, but in addition to this we aim to take the section as a whole to an activity center for a weekend
in August, departing on Friday the 11th and returning on Sunday the 13th.

Windmill Hill is an activity center that I have used many times in the past, both with a youth club, and with the
Scout section here in St Margarets. There are many activities aimed at Scouts available ranging from archery to
abseiling, shooting to raft building, and we plan to include a number of these in our itinerary.
The cost of the trip will be in the region of 115 (dependent on numbers attending). We require a non
refundable booking fee of 25 per Scout to be paid by Saturday 10th of June to enable us to confirm our booking
with Windmill Hill.
There are limited places available, so I would be grateful if you would complete the reply slip and return it to
EmJ as soon as possible to confirm that you have seen this letter.
