Group Oral Presentation

Topic
Topic released on Moodle before the first Tuition Free Week. The topic will be based on engineering
area and Malaysia.

Preparation
Including the two tuition free weeks, students have five weeks to prepare for the presentation.
Students are expected to perform research and cite resources.
Teams are expected to rehearse presentation as a united group.

Format of presentation
8 minutes presentation plus 2 minutes Q&A, for total of 10 minutes.
Every team member is to speak. Since the maximum group size is four, each member have on
average 2 minutes speaking time.
Dress code, formal. Essentially, dress in work clothes and present as if presenting to industry.

Marking Criteria
10% - Content. Organised, clear visuals, well-researched. How good is the material?
10% - Delivery. Eye contact, clear voice, confidence. How well was the material presented?
10% - Team unity. Cohesion of slides, dress code, team delivery. How was the teamwork?
