Dear Verona Times,

My name is Juliet Capulet, I am writing you in regards to my family's feud with the Montagues. I
strongly believe that the fighting needs to stop as you stated in your editorial.
I believe that the fighting must stop due to all the lives that we have lost in the processes of getting back
at one another for a encounter that happened many years ago that broke our families into a war.
My family has been fighting with the Montagues for as long as I have been alive, it is getting to the point
where I have to go behind my parents back so I can marry the man I love, Romeo Montague. I am not
able to be happy because my family and his cannot get along with one another. I had to lie so I was able
to marry the man I really wanted to marry not Paris.
Many lives have been taken in both of our families and I think it has gone too far. This feud has brought
terror to the streets of Verona, no more nice walks into down because you are always going to be scared
that you will be caught in the middle of an outburst. If someone bites their tongue at another, a fight is
started, if anyone says anything and it comes off as rude, then they will be killed, there is no stopping
funerals unless the feud is discontinued.
This feud has also made the Prince set a law that anyone that fights, their lives with be forfeited for
peace, those who fight will be killed on top of the life they took. It is a continuous road of death.
I strongly believe that this war going on needs to stop between my family and the Montague's.

Sincerely,
Juliet Capulet
