The Martian space station that will be designed will simulate both Earths gravity in the

outer ring and martian gravity in the inner ring with use of circular motion. The way this will

work is by having the space station rotate at a set speed, creating a centripetal or center seeking

force. The centripetal force will attract the astronauts towards the center of the space station, thus

creating a force thought draws them towards the floor in the direction of the space station's core,

creating artificial gravity. The outer ring will have a larger radius, giving it a much larger linear

velocity and centripetal acceleration, while the inner ring will be much smaller in order to

simulate martian gravity through a smaller centripetal acceleration.
