    Aspirin Assay Method

    Mobile phase: Dissolve 2gm of Sodium perchlorate in 350ml of distilled water, shake well and filter it. Add

    into it 650ml of Methanol and 2ml of Triethylamine. Shake well to mix and Sonicate to degas before use.

    Diluent:

    Methanol:Formic Acid

    98 : 2

    Standard Preparation: Prepare standard of 1mg/mL concentration with diluent.

    Sample Preparation: Prepare Sample of 1mg/mL concentration with diluent.

    Detector wavelength: 280nm

    Column: 25cm x 4.6mm contains 5 m packing C18

    Flow Rate: 1.0 ml/minute

    Temperature: 40C

    PROCEDURE
    Separately inject equal volumes (20l) of the standard and Sample preparation into the chromatograph,
    Record the chromatograms, and measure the responses for the major peaks.
