My name is Tiffany Wolf Smith. I am Assistant Curator of Education at the Modern Art
Museum of Fort Worth. I am responsible for all public studio programs at the Modern. We
offer several different studio-based opportunities during the year but the program that takes
up the bulk of my time is our Summer Art Camp program. There are a lot of moving pieces
which means I have to hire a team of interns during the summer to share in the work load.

Emilee Martin was one of my best hires. She is smart, attentive, gracious and very
hardworking. As an Art Camp staff member, she organized the children and maintained control
in the classroom. She could speak at length with the students and the instructors about the
Moderns permanent collection and the special exhibition. Emalee is very comfortable in both
the museum and classroom environment. I found her to be a quick learner who does not shy
away from new tasks. She is a reliable employee and a favorite among the rest of the staff.

Part of the internship requires Art Camp staff to work as educators. Emalee had to research
our current exhibition and help develop curriculum, studio projects and presentations. At the
end of each camp week, we have an exhibition of the campers works. Camp staff spends time
interacting with the childrens friends and family. I heard nothing but positive feedback on
Emalee from the children and their families.

I can highly recommend Emalee for a teaching position. She is extremely competent, socially
adept and has a great command of the classroom. Emalee is also a real joy in the workplace
