To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter to whole heartedly recommend Emily Trujillo. Emily has been a volunteer in my first-grade classroom for the current semester (Fall 2018). Emily is not here because she is needing to fulfill hours, but rather has come to Kruse Elementary to enhance her learning and experience with kids on her own time. Emily has been a great benefit to me in my classroom and to each student she works with in our first-grade group. Emily comes to my classroom each Tuesday for our literacy rotations. She works with a small group of students on a variety of literacy lessons. The small groups that Emily works with are of varying academic levels. Emily has an understanding of how students learn. She is flexible and easily adjusts a lesson to differentiate for each level of student that comes to her group. She has a kind and gentle way of working with kids showing that she is kid-oriented in her approach to teaching. Emily also goes beyond the small group lesson that is part of our rotations. She often stays a little longer to support students that need a gentle push to accomplish the daily task at hand. Emily has been easy to work with, reliable, flexible, and confident in her approach to the classroom. It is my pleasure to highly recommend Emily in any position that allows her to work with kids. She has that something special that we all look for in a teacher and mentor of kids. Please contact me at the email or phone number here if there is any other information I can provide.
