Biology professor, Harvard University
Summary: The paper analyses the origin of the Slavs and the original Slavic
community, as well as the search for Indo-European original homeland. DNA-genealogy
gives us the answer to the question about the original homeland of the Slavs and the Indo-
Europeans. With DNA-genealogy, one can trace the migrations of a nation without the use
of archeologists shovels and brushes, skull-measuring, without inventive disentangling of
accordance and word meaning in the living and the dead languages-one should only follow
the markers in our DNA. The markers cannot be assimilated or overpowered by another
language, culture or people, as it was the case for thousands of years in history, linguistics,
anthropology. One of the main points of view is that the haplotypes and haplogroups do not
assimilate and they enable us to define the period in which their ancestors lived. The notion
of ancestral haplogroup or gender haplogroup is defined by markers, or by the mutation
in the male sex chromosome.

This method enabled us to prove that the Indo-European languages were not the
original ones, instead, the Proto-Slavic and the Aryan were. The Indo-European
languages is a euphemism which originates in the inability to understand the connection
between the Sanskrit and its variations on one side and European languages on the other.
We have come to conclusion that the Aryan languages represent the basis for the European
languages, the Sanskrit and the Indo-European Iranian languages. The valleys of the
Dnieper, the Don and the Ural were not inhabited by the people who spoke Iranian
