INSTALLATION 1) Installation Example Strainer 8 vee‘HE-513, 2/2 2) Install a stop Valve and a pressure gauge nearby the strainer a: shown in the Installation Example. If one each pressure gauge is installed at both sides of the Strainer, choking condition can be observed with the pressire differential between two gauges. 3) Install the Strainer to have the cap face downward. 4) Reserve a space at the installation in the length 5 times or more of the H length shown on the right undernieth the centre line of the piping for disassembly inspection. 5) Fixing and supporting of the piping is necessary to avoid direct load of the weight of the piping or heat stress on the Strainer. 4, MAINTENANCE & INSPECTION In order to ensure the function of the Strainer, inspect and clean the Strainer in a short interval at the early stage of the use to grasp the condition of the intrusion of the foreign matters to decide suitable regular cleaning period. In case of a long time non-operation, remove the drain inside the Strainer to keep from rusts or freezing. ‘The Strainers in the size over 50mm have plugs for the dischazge of drain. By taking off the plug, drain can be easily discharged and installation of a stop valve by taking off the plug will enable easy discharge. 5.
