(A) DAF EQUIPMENT

USING HICHINE SMALL CENTRIFUGAL PUMP WHICH IS MOST SUITABLE FOR

DISSOLVING GAS INTO LIQUID !

1) HICHINE Small Centrifugal Pump is most suitable to

pressurize the air and liquid, and let the air dissolved into the
liquid, compared with any other type of pumps and apparatus
like static mixer.
You may have similar system as ours using other type of
centrifugal pump but they cannot achieve such high dissolve
rate as our Small Centrifugal Pump.
2) HICHINE system of dissolving gas into liquid is used for
DAF (Dissolved Air Floatation) system. As showed in the
following system flow, the HICHINE system does not use
compressor, pressure dissolve tank, ejector and static mixer,
which makes our system small in size and competitive in
price. In case of conventional centrifugal pump method, the
pump suck the liquid and air, and mix them and transport
them. Undissolved air remaining in the liquid is released at
the air separator tank. The liquid has to be kept in pressure dissolve tank for some minutes in order to let
the air to be dissolved in the liquid, and the pressure tank is very large.
The comparison with conventional DAF system is shown as under:

3) In case of HICHINE Centrifugal Pump system, air and liquid is mixed in turbulent flow as explained
in Pump Feature. The turbulent flow helps the air to be dissolved efficiently. It should be noted that
HICHINE system can achieve extremely high air dissolution ratio in one path in comparison existing
system, i.e., more than 90% at 0.4 MPa which is several times higher than ordinary DAF system.
4) Another feature of HICHINE DAF system is the fine-ness and thickness of the bubbles to be yield by
the system. It is shown in the following picture.

5) HICHINE system can be put into maintenance free operation to produce fine bubbles immediately
after short initial operation. But in case of conventional method, start and stop operation is rather
difficult and it takes a lot of time until the system start producing bubbles.
6) HICHINE system has small number of components and pump can be small size and space required is
small and weight of the system is light. We assemble our pump and other items (inlet/outlet pressure
regulator, solenoid valve, check valve, air relief valve, air flow meter, inlet/outlet pressure gauge, air
separation tank, and inlet nozzle) on the skid and supply to the customer. HICHINE system needs only
1/5 of the space of the conventional DAF system.
7) A maintenance cost of the HICHINE system is only for electricity of motor for pump but in case of
conventional method, electricity of motors for pump and compressor, and maintenance cost for
compressor, ejector, static mixer and large pressure tank are required.

Air and liquid ratio is supposed 8:100, and the above flow rate is changed when air and liquid ratio is
changed depending on the air inlet adjustment.
Above motor specifications is based on 60 HZ and the motor is the one prevailing in China and not high
efficiency which usually required by many reputable governmental authority including USA authority.
9) Equipment for DAF system:
It is possible to design DAF system of larger size than above 8) is possible, by way of using specially
developed tank system of extremely high efficiency.

(B) OZONE EQUIPMENT

HICHINE ozone water making system has following merit in comparison with conventional ozone
water making equipment.
1) Hichine system is simple and it intakes Ozone gas to the pump and mix Ozone with liquid in the
pump, while conventional system needs additional equipment like "ejector" and "static mixer" to make
Ozone water. Therefore HICHINE system is much smaller, and less expensive.
2) Ozone dissolution ratio is more than 90% in case of HICHINE system which is extremely high
compared with conventional system. This dissolution ratio varies depending on water temperature, gas
concentration, PH concentration.
3) HICHINE system can intake Ozone gas volume of approx 3 - 10% of the liquid volume. Specially
designed Nozzle (with check valve) is used for constant Ozone gas flow to the system.

5) Please take care of followings:

Ozone water concentration changes when you have organic item in the liquid which react with
Ozone.
Ozone water concentration goes down when you have fluctuation of pump exit pressure and
Ozone makes self-reaction.
The valve on Ozone intake line should be adjusted in accordance with requirement of gas
pressure of Ozonizer.
It is desirable to install solenoid valve between Ozonizer and HICHINE system, to prevent the
liquid to go back to Ozonizer.
