Hollibrook congratulates Romelia Oyervides, our February Volunteer of the month! Mrs.

Oyervides is married and has three children, Sofia who is in Kinder with Ms. Navarro and her
two sons Christopher and Edgar who attend Northbrook High. Ms. Oyervides was born in
Zacatecas, Mexico and arrived in the US in 1996. She has lived in this area since then and
states that she really likes Hollibrook and loves this community. Mrs. Oyervides has been
volunteering since 1998 when her oldest son was in PK. She states that she loves to volunteer
at Hollibrook because she loves to help others and also enjoys getting involved in her childrens
education. Mrs. Oyervides also enjoys getting to know her childrens teachers and enjoys
learning as much as she can about the school system. Mrs. Oyervides is a graduate of the
PIQE program and is also a 2011-2012 PTA board member. This month Mrs. Oyervides
volunteered 41 hours. She has been a great contribution to the Hollibrook community. Please
congratulate Mrs. Oyervides when you see her. Thank you Mrs. Oyervides for all of your hard

seora Romelia Oyervides, nuestra voluntaria del mes de febrero. La seora Oyervides est casada con tres nios, Sofia en
knder con la Srita. Navarro y dos hijos Christopher y Edgar quienes asisten la preparatoria de Northbrook. La seora Oyervides
naci en Zacatecas, Mxico y lleg a los Estados Unidos en 1996. Ella ha vivido en esta rea desde entonces, la seora
Oyervides realmente le gusta nuestra escuela Hollibrook y le encanta esta comunidad. La seora Oyervides ha sido voluntaria
desde 1998 cuando su hijo mayor entr al ao pre-escolar. La Sra. Oyervides asegura que le gusta ser voluntaria en Hollibrook
porque disfruta ayudar a otros y al mismo tiempo esto le permite estar involucrada en la educacin de sus hijos. Adems de
que de esta manera conoce los maestros de sus hijos y aprende tanto como sea posible acerca del sistema educativo. La
seora Oyervides esta graduada del programa PIQE y tambin es miembro de la Mesa Directiva de PTA 2011-2012. Este mes
la seora Oyervides complet 41 horas como voluntaria. Ella ha sido una gran ayuda para Hollibrook. Por favor felicite a la
seora Oyervides cuando tenga la oportunidad. Gracias seora Oyervides por su trabajo y dedicacin como voluntaria.
