The scope of works comprises:

3. RESPONSIBILITY
a. Contracts Manager:
Overall in-charge of the project and reports to the general manager.
b. Project Manager:
Lead all construction activities and enforce strict adherence to all project requirement and will
report to contracts manager. The project manager shall be responsible to implement this method
statement and ensure that his team of engineer and supervisor are aware of this method
statement.
c. Electrical Engineer:
Understand fully the specifications/ drawings, documents, labor, plant and ensure all related
works are carried out in accordance with shop drawing, specifications, method statement,
schedule, quality and safety. Provide leadership, organizational support, skill and promote
teamwork to achieve the target. Report to Project Manger.
d. QA/QC Engineer:
Responsible to organize, implement & monitor the QA/QC program. Ensure that all related works
are carried out in accordance with the shop drawings, specifications, approved method
statement, Project Quality Plan. Conduct inspection on site work installation/testing. Generate
NCRs. Functions administratively under Contracts Manager but reports to QA/QC department
head
e. Safety Engineer:
Implement safety rules where necessary, ensure that all site personnel and visitors adhere to
safety rules, carry out inspection on the daily. Inspect tools/ equipments and personnel protective
equipments on site. Prepare and issue safety reports as and when required.

6. APPLICABLE FORMS
6.2.9 In case of RMUs bus bar connection. Assembly shall be made as per the manufacturers
recommendation with proper care. Bus- bars shall be cleaned properly and contract
areas to be lightly applied with approved grease /base line recommended by the vendor.
Ensure that eh correct type and size of bolts /washers shall be used.
6.2.10 After the installation, the necessary protection shall be provided to the equipment when
required (i.e. cover with tarpaulin plastic, wood etc.) to prevent from any deterioration.
6.2.11 Clean the external / internal of the RMUs and the surroundings of the area.
6.2.12 Check the completeness of the internal of the RMUs and the surrounding of the area.
6.2.13 Ensure that all related works are done and completed (i.e earthing provided at least attwo
points) cabling / termination etc.) As specified on the approved drawings and
specifications.
6.2.14 Inspection shall be carried out by the competent authorities by notifying them through
inspection request form. Fill-up the ANMEP checklist and sign.
Safety equipment (Example: Hardhats, Safety shoes, Overalls, Gloves, Goggles as necessary) to
be worn at all times.
Site safety officer shall check and ensure all safety precautions are taken prior to commencement
of work.
All live area shall be barricaded with safety tape/ cones, with warning sign.
Access to the area shall be limited to the authorized personals only.
A list of all personnel involved in the testing shall be maintained.
A copy of approved method statement shall be kept at the site for review.
First aid box shall be kept at site.
