The Career Informational Interview

All of you should have identified the person you would like to interview by March 1st, 2007. You should
have also created a list of interview questions you intend to ask and included this in your Pre-Interview
Planning Worksheet. If you failed to do so, include a list of the questions you asked during the interview
and attach as the last page of your report. At the top, simply type the title List of Interview Questions.
You may use pages 254-256 of The Workbook to help you plan your questions.

The reflection/evaluation questions are listed on page 255 of The Workbook. Each question should be
answered and included in your report.

The Career Informational Interview Report

Your report will be a formal summary of the interview and a reflection of the experience. The report
must include information from the interview itself, as well as an evaluation/reflection of the interview.
You may not use bullets or numbers in detailing your interview questions. Be sure to write a strong
opening and concluding paragraph.

The report must be typed in paragraph format, using 1 margins, 11 or 12 point Arial or Times New
Roman font, and no less than two full pages in length. Be sure to use spell check and grammar check.
