Dispatcher / Transport Coordinator (Cluj-Napoca Office)

Job Profile
As the Dispatcher / Transport Coordinator you are in general responsible for the efficient
organization of transport activity, following the achievements of performance indicators
and respecting Heisterkamps requirements and legal requirements:
- Take care of daily scheduling and handling multiple routes, drivers, etc.
- Oversee the time delivery and communicate changes
- Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns or licensing issues
- Responsible for the day to check arrival and departure dates according to legislation
- Responsible for motivation, coordination, monitoring and supervising drivers; develop
team spirit in the groups coordinated
- Follow in real time hours of discharge, position on the route, incidents reported by the
GPS system
- Responsible for achieving the targets (consumption, km, plan, driving reports drivers,
etc)
- Responsible for relationship with authorities like ARR, RAR, Police
- Obtaining all necessary transport licenses for the trucks
- Responsible for maintenance, insurances and other documents and obligations related to
the trucks

You will report to our Manager Cluj Office and work closely together with our colleagues
in Oldenzaal, the Netherlands (Head Quarter).

The candidate
For this job, we are looking for a Dispatcher / Transport Coordinator who has a valid
Transport Coordinator Licence, experience with Transportation, likes working in a
dynamic (international) environment and who has a competent workforce of his own.
Besides this, our candidate has also following competences / requirements:
- Transport Certificate in line with Romanian legislation (ARR Certificate `coordonator
transport`)
- Romanian and English on a good level. German is a plus
- Degree in Transportation, Engineering , or Economics
- Critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of
alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Coordination adjusting actions in relation to others actions
- Proven negotiation skills, highly motivated, self-starter
- Stategic planning ability
