The Wayne County Sheriffs Office will offer the Local Corrections Officer Physical
Abilities Test (LCOPAT) for free on July 29, 2017 at Schoolcraft College Public Safety
Training Complex from 9:00am to 3:30 pm. The cost of this test is usually $50. Each
candidate must have a clearance form completed by their doctor indicating
they are medically able to take the test. The Physicians Health Screening Form is

Applicants can fill out an application and take the standardized personality
test after the completion of the LCOPAT. Upon passing the personality test,
candidates will be transported for fingerprinting.

Applicants should bring a list of 5 references including first and last names, addresses,
phone numbers and occupations as well as the names and addresses of your former
employers and a copy of your drivers license.
