Foreign Study Scholarship For Indian Version2 PDF
Foreign Study Scholarship For Indian Version2 PDF
version. 2.0
Date: 8 July 2003
Hi,
Welcome to version 2.0 of the scholarship list. The changes in this list (as compared to the previous one)
have been mentioned below.
There are NUMEROUS scholarships available for study abroad. The Rotary, JN tata, and GD Sethna
Scholarships are MUST apply scholarships. I was able to apply for just one of the above (GD Sethna)
because I was late. Please dont repeat the same mistake.
TIME TO APPLY:
If you plan to go for August the next year, you should start applying from JULY in the PREVIOUS Year.
For example, if you have to go for August 2005, you should start applying for the scholarships from July/
September 2004 i.e. 11 months before hand.
This is particularly true of the Rotary scholarship fund, which issues the application forms in July.
UPDATED LISTS:
The changes made in version 2.0 are:
1) Phone numbers & website addresses of most of the important scholarships included.
2) Discontinued scholarships have been weeded out
3) Most of the Non-Bombay scholarships have been included
The changes that will be made in the next version (v 3.0) will be as follows:
1) A map of Bombay with the scholarships trusts marked out by area will be included.
2) Deadlines of most of these scholarships will be mentioned.
3) All the non-Bombay scholarships will be included.
The updated lists will be uploaded to my college website (www.kemates.com). Visit the site to verify
that you have the most up-to-date and correct version. Corrections submitted to me will be added to
the list as soon as I can. If you want to be informed when these lists are uploaded, please send me a
short mail at siddharthkharkar@yahoo.com or oncogen@kemates.com
If you do find the numbers, please send them to me via email, so that I can include them in the list for
the benefit of others.
Please send any corrections/suggestions/words of encouragement via email. Most of the phone numbers
in this list have been verified, if you come across any mistakes, please send me a short email.
And please, please, please if this list is useful to you and you do get any of these scholarships, please do
send me a mail. It would make all this trouble seem worthwhile.
Dont forget to share this information with your friends, and send me any information you have, so that I
can include it here.
Best of Luck, J
Dr. Siddharth Kharkar.
