This document outlines a behavior contingency plan to encourage students to stay on task during social studies class. Undesirable behaviors like being off task are targeted. The plan uses a puzzle board with four puzzle pieces to track progress towards rewards for demonstrating the desirable behavior of staying on task. As students earn pieces, parts of the puzzle are revealed leading to mini rewards and activities related to their social studies lessons. Completing all four puzzles earns a final reward where students plan a day to remember the Alamo through plays, songs, and sharing their work with others.
