MECHANICS FOR CONTEMPORARY DANCE
1. Students should be a bona fide GSDMSFI.
2. Each group performer shall consist of two (2) participant. It can either be male to male, female to female or mixed (male and female). 3. The dance should have a theme/concept/story. Creativity is applied and required that shall leave an eye-catching performance to the audience. 4. The music should be in a minimum of three (3) minutes and maximum of five (5) minutes. It should not exceed more than the given time, deduction may be apply when breaking the rules. 5. All soft copy of the music should be pass to the SSC office a day before the event. Failure through that will be a deduction point to the group. 6. Props are not prohibited but only safety and secured props that are essential to the dance is allowed. 7. Costumes must be appropriate to the concept of the dance. Inappropriate exposure of the body, vulgar act or obscene choreography is not allowed. 8. Rehearsals should be done before the event. All groups should be in the designated area. Groups not present in the event may lead to disqualification. 9. Each group should perform based on the draw lots given by the Supreme Student Council. 10. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
