"MASS DANCE COMPETITION "

GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS

1. Participants should be a bona fide resident of Barangay Baylo Davao de Oro.
2. All members of the group must be 15-30 years old.
3. Participants should have a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 members.
4. The duration of the dance and music must be a minimum of FOUR (4) minutes and a
maximum of SIX (6) minutes excluding the entrance and exit.
5. Any dance music is allowed as long as it’s suited to the concept of the dance routine.
6. Costumes must be decent.
7. Attire may include accessories such as hats, scarves, caps, gloves etc. Removing
pieces of clothing during the performance is permitted provided it is not offensive or out
of character.
8. Face and Body paint are allowed as long as it will not affect the performance area.
9. A panel of judges shall determine the winners based on the foregoing criteria. Any
violations of the foregoing guidelines and mechanics may cause TWO (2) POINTS
deduction per violation or may subject for disqualification.
10. The decision of the panel shall be FINAL and IRREVOCABLE.

(Dance arrangement, Creativity, Style and Concept)
Mastery and Synchronization - 25%
(Performance Level and Execution)
Creativity and Style - 25%
(Incorporating Unique and Creative Moves)
Costume and Props - 10%
(Appropriate and Decent, Incorporating of Props)
Over All impact - 10%
(Entertainment Value/ Crowd Appeal)
Over All Total - 100%
