POP DANCE COMPETITION

MECHANICS
1. This is Inter-Purok competition and open to all youth of Barangay Numo, Esperanza Sultan
Kudarat
2. Each group must perform a dance number with the minimum of 3 minutes and maximum of
5 minutes duration of their music choice
3. Each group must have a minimum of 5 member and a maximum of 10 members
4. Participants can wear their costume/attire and accessories for additional glam. However, the
use of pyrotechnic gadgets, smoke or combustible materials as props and revealing clothes
are not allowed.
5. For additional point in judging, the contestant will have a Dance Showdown after performing
their respective dance number. Each group must perform a dance number according to the
music choice of Sangguniang Kabataan Council (NCCA Unity Dance)
6. The judge’s decision is final and irrevocable

CRITERIA AND GUDELINES

GUIDELINES & MECHANICS

1. This contest is open to all resident of barangay Numo who are 15yrs old and above.
2. Each purok will select a representative in the said contest (one entry only in every purok).
3. The song to be use must be English or Tagalog.
4. The participant should finish the whole duration of the song.
5. The participant must use a minus one or karaoke music.
6. The clothes to be worn must be casual.
7. The verdict of the board or jury is final and cannot be changed.
8. During the day of performance, reading of lyrics is not allowed.
9. Violation to any rule will result to deductions of 5 points in his/her total score.
10. Performance order will be determined by the management via drawing of lots.
