Working Methodology for Up Gradation of Line Protection Panel

Up Gradation of Line Protection Relay:

Activities to be performed prior To shutdown:

1. Relay end termination as per drawing and wiring table.
2. Cable sizing as per available route in panel.
3. Ferrule printing and insertion in cables.
4. Schematics Study.
Day1:
1. Before dismantling work KE representative will make sure all supply Isolate from the panel.
2. Dismantling old wires from existing relay.
3. Installation of new plate for new protection relay make GE.
4. Installation of new line protection & over current relay make GE.
5. Termination work started for new line protection & over current relay make GE.
Day2:
1. Termination work completed for new Line protection & over current relay make GE.
2. Verification of new terminated wiring as per terminal plan.
3. Before powering up the new protection relays, check the power supply on DC breakers.
4. Powering up new line protection relay and verify healthiness of relay.
5. Verify LEDs on new protection relays.
6. Verify the output contact as drawing.
7. After completion of new protection relay installation, start testing/commissioning.
Day3:
1. Testing of all enabled functions as per K.E approved setting.
2. Check the logic scheme.
3. Submit the testing/commissioning report.
