INDUSTRY INSIGHTS
Oregon Projects Meb Keflezighi attended a meet & greet at the Marathon Sports Boylston St. store, a day prior to
running Sundays BAA 10k along with over 8,000 race day participants.
Fitness Frenzy Day took place on Boston Harbors Spectacle Island on 6.25, led by five of Boston's top running &
fitness pros, including Nikes own Running Coach Dan Fitzgerald. Participants arrived at the event via ferry and were
invited to enjoy a daycation' after the festivities.
Summer morning yoga sessions atop the Colonnade Hotel pool deck start on 6.28 with Author/Instuctor Rebecca
Pacheco.
Reebok launched a free run club at the beginning of June, departing from one of companys two new showroom
studios in Bostons Back Bay and South End that opened to the public in April. Each show room location is opened 2
days a week & offers fitness classes taught by local studio instructors, starting at $10 per class.
Asics America Corp is moving its Product Creation Studio to 125 Summer Street, Boston, in December 2017. The brand,
based in Irvine, CA, is seeking East Coast presence and has already opened a Global Digital Hub (including newly
purchased RunKeeper App) in the Financial District of Boston.
Reebok is moving its US headquarters from Canton, MA to a brand new facility at the Innovation & Design Center in
Bostons Seaport District.
