CUTTING CHAI RECIPE

Ingredients

1 cup water

3 pods cardamom / elachi

1 inch ginger / adrak, grated

2 tsp tea powder

2 tsp sugar

full cream milk

Instructions ( 1 cup =255 ml)

firstly, take 1 cup of water in a large saucepan.

add 3 pods of cardamom, open the pods and add to the water for more flavours.

also grate 1 inch of ginger (** I just added like a small pinch)

now add 2 tsp of tea powder (**I used normal/granular tea leaves) . increase the amount of tea
powder, to make the tea stronger.

additionally add sugar.

now boil for 5 minutes on medium flame. boil more to make tea more stronger.

furthemore, add cup of milk. (*I added a little bit of evaporated milk also it tasted very good)

boil for 2 minutes, make sure to mix in between.

later with the help of small filter, filter the chai separating the tea leaves and pour into glass.
