Worked as Mud Logging Geologist in Sperry Drilling (A Halliburton Company) I have

worked on exploratory, development and Side track wells. Basic duties are Examine rock
cutting, routine mud logging procedures; Well safety and monitoring all Drilling
Parameters. Help and assist well site geologist in Formation Evaluation and technical data
reporting.

Major Responsibilities:

 Lithological description of drill cutting samples, core handling and core chip analysis.
 Marking, identification of formation tops (changed in Geological rock cutting).
 monitoring of hydrocarbon gas using gas chromatograph & total gas by total gas
detector. handling and maintenance of online gas system.
 Preparing well logs, daily/weekly geological reports and final well reports, which
include Mud log, Drilling Log, Composite Logs, Drilling parameters, Bit details, Gas
analysis data, Casing & Cementation data etc
 Monitoring all drilling and fluid parameters and presence of hazardous gases like H2S.
 Preparation of daily progress report, trip sheet, time analysis.
