under entertainment sector on tourism and leisure environment which is one of the subject
for an event. There is growing influence of entertainment to have fun, be entertained, enjoy
the fantasy and escape from the realities of life
MUD OUR STORY OF KUALA LUMPUR thetre is suitable for adults and children
alike, MUD, derived from the very name of our city Lumpur, tells the story of 3 friends, Mat,
Meng and Muthiah. The glint of tin drew the 3 friends to this small sleepy town in the hopes
of landing jobs that would lead to riches. However, they arrive to conflict and unrest as
different parties fight for the rights to the tin mines and land of Ampang. When one encounter
solves itself, another arose, as per the history of the city. The hour-long musical narrates
through the great fire of 1881 as well as the flood that swept away whatever little progress
the community made in rebuilding their homes. Through it all, they survive by one another
alongside the friends they meet along the way, some who would also eventually become
family.
The students and lecturers of the club will leave the theatre feeling proudly patriotic
of how far this city and the rest of our country has come from its humble beginnings as a
small mining town to become one of the greatest cities in the world. So it will bring a positive
impact and increase our patriotics feelings by watching this theatre.

2. OBJECTIVES
Field trips to live theater enhance literary knowledge, tolerance, and empathy among
students, according to a study. The research team found that reading and watching movies
could not account for the increase in knowledge experienced by students who attended live
performances of the plays. Students who attended live performances of the play also scored
higher on the study's tolerance measure than the control group by a moderately large margin
and were better able to recognize and appreciate what other people think and feel. The
researchers found that viewing the productions leads to enhanced knowledge of the plot,
increased vocabulary, greater tolerance and improved ability to read the emotions of others.
What we determined from this research is that seeing live theater produced positive effects
that reading a play or watching a movie of the play does not produce. We hypothesized that
culturally enriching field trips are broadening experiences that expose students to a diverse
world populated with different people and ideas, making them more aware and accepting of
those differences. As part of the previous study in which we randomly assigned school
groups to tour an art museum on a field trip, we found a significant increase in tolerance
among students who toured the museum. To test whether field trips to see live theater have
a similar effect, we utilized a scale that measures tolerance of others.
