PAPER WORK FAMILY DAY (MOBILITY STUDENTS’ EDITION)

1.0 PURPOSE

The purpose of this proposal is to ask for an approval from Dr. Bahtiar Mohamad, Dean
of Student Development and Alumni, Universiti Utara Malaysia, College of Arts and
Science to organize the “Family Day for Mobility Students” programme.

2.0 BACKGROUND

Student Development and Alumni UUM CAS with the collaboration with Rakan CAS are
planning to organize a fascinating yet beneficial programme named as “Family Day for
Mobility Students” to give the exposure to the mobility students from PPA CAS about
culture of Malaysia. Malaysia is a famous country with the diversity of races, religions,
and culture. The variety of these need to be exposed especially to the mobility students so
that they will learn something new that they couldn’t find in their places. One of the
things that they can get from this visit are they can increase their knowledge about the
different culture such as traditional games. From this program, they can have the thrilling
time with their Buddies and sharing thoughts from each other which can also improve
their interpersonal skills. Ultimately, they can share this experiences with their families
while they were in Malaysia and the culture of this country can be spread all over the
world.

3.0 OBJECTIVES

3.1 This programme is to open up student’s mind to get to know about the culture life
in Malaysia.

3.2 The aim for this programme is to give exposure to the mobility students about the
importance of working in teamwork.

3.3 The purpose of this programme is to reduce the stress especially for the students
who are already in the middle of their semester studies and can help students to
execute their field research.

4.0 DETAILS

4.1 Date : 26th of April 2019 (Friday)

4.2 Venue : Sport Centre

4.3 Time : 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 a.m.

4.4 Participant : Open for all mobility students and INOVA.
