Rationale

Kambuniyan is a designated day for commemorating the establishment of the

Sultan Kudarat State University. It is a chance for a university to unite and share its
illustrious past with the neighborhood, staff, and students. It is necessary to call for a
celebration after a two-year absence from in-person interactions because of all the
difficulties that the University has faced and how they have triumphed over them with
pride, honor, and dignity. Everything is possible when we can rely on one another and
work as a team.
Therefore, the Student Body Organization would like to celebrate the 32nd
Kambuniyan Festival - Students' Paindisanay with the theme "SKSU at 32: Generating
Solutions and Undertaking Innovations" in response to this significant event. This will
give the students an opportunity to reflect on how the event has shaped them as the
University continues to overcome all obstacles. Additionally, it seeks to highlight each
SKSUan's talent through the holding of various events and contests that will bring out
their competitive spirit and untapped abilities in participating in the said occasion. They
might be able to appreciate the progress they have made as a result.

Objectives
 To commemorate the proud history and foundation with the community,
personnel and staff, and students.
 To celebrate the milestone of the University.
 To acknowledge the institution’s humble beginning.
 To showcase the talent of every SKSUans through the conduct of different
activities.
 To unleash the students’ battle cry in exhibiting their skills.
 To give honour and excellence to the founder of the University.
 To provide enjoyment and fun.

Methodology

The University Student Government will disseminate the announcements and

information on the official SKSU USG FB Page. Thereon, the USG Officers will
disseminate the guidelines and criteria for various activities and competitions to be
aware of each campus for them to prepare their participants. Further, the USG
President will assign committees on each event and the assigned committee will
monitor the progress and updates to each event. The USG Officers will then go to
the University a day before the official start of the festive celebration. The Officers
and participants from far campuses will be requested to come in the University a
day before the official date of the event. Also, the participants from the seaside
campuses will be encouraged to do the same. Moreover, the Hip-Hop Dance
competition will commence on the first day of the Kambuniyan as agreed by the
faculty and USG.
Countdown on the official FB page of the organization will begin one week
before the celebration of Kambuniyan. The students’ activities for KAMBUNIYAN
FESTIVAL: Students’ Paindisanay will commenced on December 2, 2022, at 3
o’clock in the afternoon. Announcing and posting of the official winner and Overall
Champion for the Kambuniyan 2022 will be on December 5, 2022.
During the said activity, the University Student Government will follow the
strict health protocol and guidelines against COVID-19 at the entire duration of the
event.

Expected Output

At the end Kambuniyan Students Paindisanay 2022, the SKSUans will witness
the joyous celebration of Sultan Kudarat State University, Kambuniyan Celebration as
they will acknowledge the humble beginning of the beloved institution. Exhibition and
unleashing of different talent and skills will be demonstrated with great pleasure,
passion, and devotion. Further, prizes and certificates will be given to the participants
of the different competitions as they celebrate the milestone of the University with a
grateful heart.
