Sub : SJPS Career Fair 2024 - Reminder - Reg.,

Greetings from Dr. R. Kishore Kumar , the Correspondent of St. John’s Public Schools,
Chennai, as the Convenor of the 2 Day Career Fair 2024.
I am happy to keep you updated on the 2 Day SJPS- Career Fair 2024 that we are hosting at our
school campus not only for our school students, which is also kept open for students of other
schools across the city of Chennai.

The SJPS- Career Fair 2024 has got the registration of more than 45 Institutes of Higher
Education across all parts of Tamilnadu.
 It includes top Universities, Stand Alone Institutes.
 Top Colleges in City, Art - Science- Commerce - Humanities.
 Engineering Colleges which are on high demands.
 Top Medical Colleges.
 The Fair has the participation of Aviation Institutes, Catering Institutes, Film
Institutes and even Beauty & Cosmetic Academies.
 The presence of UPSC Coaching Centres are also ensured.
 Banks are also participating to present the Concept of Educational Bank Loans.
 Educational Consultants / Agencies are also participating.
 Overseas Universities, A Few are also participating in the fair.
 To Our Delight a few Consulates / Embassies are also participating in the 2 Day Career
Fair through their Education Departments.
 A few Central Institutions have also registered their presence and participation.

We have invited the Tamilnadu Govt. Senior Secondary Schools, their Class 12 Students
who will be specially escorted in our School Buses to give them the privilege and advantage of
the 2 Day Career Fair.

Special Additions @ 2 Day SJPS Career Fair 2024 :

 A Special Career Counselling Wing will be functioning to receive and entertain the
parents and students who may seek support on career choice @ Venue.
 A Dedicated Career Oriented Book Stall will be in place to browse the books related
to career guidance. Can be purchased too !!
 Our Audio-visual Room will be screening special documentaries for every 90
Minutes worth watching for slots of 30 Minutes.

 A Special Reference Library cum Book Reading Room will be in place for the
students to relax and go through @ venue. Not for SALE.
 Bus Parking Bay for School Buses is made available for Schools sending their students
in their school buses / hired buses & vans.
 For the convenience of Parents Car Parking, Valet Car Parking Facility is provided ,
both the days.
 A full-fledged Cafeteria will be functioning both the days for the visitors to buy Short
eats, Mini-tiffin, Combo lunch.
 Cafe Coffee Day is always there to buy snacks and hot & cold beverages through the
day.

We have separate Reception cum Registration Counters manned by Our Staff to receive and
escort students from our school for the students of Classes 9 & 10; and for Classes 11 & 12
through the School Main Gate.
 Our students of Classes 9, 10, 11 & 12 are expected to attend the 2 Day Career Fair on
any one of the 2 Days, or even on both the days. One full session - Morning or Afternoon
Session is required to go around the Career Fair.
 The 2 Day Event is to take place on 26th & 27th January 2024 at our school campus.
 Timings - Day 1, 09.30 am to 5.00 pm. Day 2, 9.30 am to 5.00 pm. (No Lunch Break)
 Students are expected to attend the Fair in School Uniform and to wear SJPS Photo ID
Card (must).
 Attendance will be marked which will gain 2 days attendance. Absentees will loose 2
days attendance.
 The school recommends compulsory participation as it will be an eye-opener for
students and definitely for the parents.
 Parents are specially invited for the 2 Day Career Fair as it is sure to give you a new
thought to our pre-conceived career options for their wards.
 Student Attending / Visiting the Career Fair will be given Visit Participation Certificate.
 Class 12 Students of Our School are specially invited to the INAUGURAL FUNCTION
which is scheduled to be held @ 9.35 am at the Adonai Auditorium on Friday the 26th
of January 2024. Students attending the inaugural session will be given a special event
memento.
