Dear Esteemed Parents / Guardians,
APPRECIATION: We thank God for the successful term. With deep gratitude, we once again
extend our felicitations to our esteemed Parents for their continuous repose of great confidence in
us and for cooperating with us in our determination to effectively impact the required knowledge
to our students: a knowledge that will make them excel in their future endeavours.
ACHIEVEMENTS
ACADEMICS PERFORMANCE: Academic excellence has become a tradition of the school.
This is attested to by Students’ performance in the various external examinations they enrolled for.
The SS3 students put up a wonderful performance in the just concluded WAEC and NECO
examinations as each of our students had a combination of As and Bs in eight and nine subjects
respectively. Also our students did very well in Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)
with Distinctions and credits.
EXCURSION: The students went on an excursion to Hi-Impact planet Amusement park
and Resort at Km 12,Lagos Ibadan expressway.
INTERACT CLUB:On Tuesday 9th November, four of our students attended World
Interact Week Celebration at Rotary Centre, Ikeja. They were engaged in career talk, quiz
competition and talent hunt.
Twelve (12) students from Christhill College have been screened for Rotary Youth
Leadership Awards ( RYLA) which is coming up first week of January, 2022. The
prospective RYLARIANS have also attended a pre-RYLA orientation in preparation for
the programme.
ENTREPRENEURAL SKILLS ACTIVITIES AND SOCIAL PROGRAMME: We
engaged our students in several entrepreneur skills’ activities and social programmes to
equip them. We have continued to intensify our activities in our different clubs and
entrepreneurial skills. This term, students learned more skills that will help them become
well developed and equipped to face life endeavour.
SEMINAR: On Tuesday 26th October, 2021, our Senior Students had a seminar on
"Substance Use and Abuse Among Adolescents".
CHRISTMAS CONCERT AND CAROL SERVICE
We ended the term with the Christmas concert and carol service which was held on
Wednesday 15th December, 2021.Students had lots of fun activities and gift item were
given.

NOTE
RELEASE OF RESULTS: Students’ results will be ready by Tuesday 21th December,
2021.
HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: During this 1st term holiday, the school will be opened between
9:00 am – 2pm on daily basis; from the 20th – 23rd of December.

RESUMPTION FOR SECOND TERM

The school re-opens on 4th January, 2022. We expect all our students to resume immediately as
serious academic work starts in earnest. There is no room for procrastination. Parents are hereby
enjoined to co-operate with the school management in the following areas:

School Fees: Appreciation goes to those parents who paid their Children’s fees on time.
We detest embarrassing our students on issues like school fees. Parent must cooperate by paying
promptly to enable the school meet its obligations on staff salary and other developmental projects.
Management may not allow students who have not paid school fees to resume with us on 4th
January, 2022. PTA N1500 per Student is compulsory.

Lessons/Saturday Classes: The School lessons/Saturday Classes for Year 9 and Year 12 will
commence on 17th January 2022.
DISCIPLINE: Discipline and sense of responsibility are the hallmark and the bedrock of any
school. The Christhill college is not different. Come 2nd Term, the school will be firmer on the
appearance /dressing of our students in terms of correct uniform, hairdo (girls), haircut, school
shoes and socks.
HAIRSTYLE(GIRLS):The school allows the girls to either come in braids (to lasts for four weeks)
or plait the prescribed fortnightly hair style (a minimum of 12 pieces). The braids must be
knotted neatly. Surprisingly, some girls come in neatly in the morning, but after one or two
periods of lessons, they undo the knots and flaunt the braids. Some come from their homes
looking very shabby in their hairstyles. This will no longer be tolerated. Anyone found wanting
will be sent home or quarantined.
HAIRCUT (BOYS): Unconventional haircuts such as galaxy, afro, round cuts, carvings, et.c .are
not allowed in the school. Boys should be on low cut or skin cut.
COMPLETE SCHOOL UNIFORMS: Students should dress up neatly in the complete uniform.
SENIOR BOYS: Trousers, shirt, tie, socks and shoes
JUNIOR BOYS: Shorts, shirt, socks and shoes
SENIOR GIRLS: Skirt, blouse, tie, socks and shoes
JUNIOR GIRLS: Pinafore, blouse, tie, socks and shoes
NAILS: Some students keep long nails. This is not healthy and safe in the school
Environment.
EARRINGS: The recommended earrings for girls is stud only.

On Wednesday, students should dress in plain blue jeans (not stone wash or crazy jeans)
Orange T’shirts and black All Stars.
On Thursday, students should come in track suit, T’Shirt of the House they belong and white
canvas.
SICKNESS/ILL HEALTH:A sick child should not be sent to school. Rather, he/she should be
given proper medical attention. Please always inform the school whenever a student is absent from
school due to ill health.
CONCLUSION
As the current year 2021 draws to an end, we wish all our eminent parents a happy and blissful
yuletide season. May the year 2022 be brighter and more prosperous than the outgoing year. Amen.
